Well...Forrest refused to post until I removed the turkey wallpaper. Lots has been going on! We had family in town from Florida and Dallas for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. I did not even burn the turkey. I did however burn the sweet potato casserole. It worked out fine - everyone thought it tasted great. Do you think they were being honest? Luckily my sister-in-law was in charge of dessert, so there were no issues there!
We've had a busy two weeks since everyone returned home. Work, school, homework, basketball practice every morning at 7:30 and one or two games each week. That is life with two smart kids and one who loves athletics. They could be interested in far worse things. We hope to enjoy some family time and holiday memories with them over the next week, including taking them Xmas shopping, driving around town at night to see Xmas lights, wrapping gifts, and lets not forget the annual Xmas cookie baking and decorating which about sends Forrest into a full blown panic attack. We usually just send him out shopping that day!
We'll take some pictures along the way over the next week and share our Xmas adventures with you. We are hoping you get some time with family this coming week!

wow you guys are busy! it sounds like you enjoyed the holiday though- i'm jealous of all the family you had around. love and miss you all!
